You can always cook this meal on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours to make it quicker. The beauty of crockpot pepper steak lies in its convenience and the depth of flavor it achieves with minimal preparation. The dish starts with thinly sliced beef, often flank steak or sirloin, which is seared briefly to lock in juices and enhance its flavor. The meat is added to the crockpot with a medley of colorful bell peppers and onions.

The combination of these vegetables not only adds vibrant color but also infuses the dish with a natural sweetness that complements the savory elements of the recipe. The sauce is the show’s star, blending beef broth, soy sauce, garlic, and a hint of ginger to create a rich, flavorful glaze that envelops the beef and vegetables as they cook.

The slow cooking process melts all the flavors, resulting in tender, succulent beef and perfectly cooked vegetables. This pepper steak can be served over a bed of fluffy rice or alongside a portion of noodles, soaking up every last bit of the savory sauce.
